Fall Fashion Trends

Colors
Earthy tones take the stage this fall. From deep browns to emerald greens, you’ll view nature taking form this season. Grays are anything but boring and range in shades from heather to charcoal. Match with rich hues like electric blue, hot pink, melon orange to create contrast that ideal for fall. Metallic and foils are still a great accent on your favorite pieces, except transition from silvers to gunmetal grey to update for all. The black and white trend from last season transitions into black on black this fall. Create interesting looks by paring colors but alternating fabrics. Monochrome from head to toe creates an especially modern look.

Fabrics
Cozy up with knits that are especially strong this season. You’ll find many oversized knit dresses, sweaters, and jackets as key pieces this fall. Another unique twist to updating your look is mixing and matching your favorite fabrics. Leathers, velvets and mixed tweeds create an interesting and truly modern touch to fall’s femininity. Nature truly shines this season as plumage, fur and feathers adorn your fall wardrobe.

Prints
Classic plaids and houndstooth prints make their way back into fall’s fashion wardrobe. You’ll find them especially popular in skirts, jackets and coats. Floral prints still persist in a minimal and casual light, paired especially with solid neutrals. This season, you’ll also find flirty feathers and exotic botanical prints merge nature and fashion to a trendy extreme.

Details and Silhouettes
This fall, look for extreme volume in oversized pieces, cinched at the waist with pencil thin belts. Think dresses and jackets in triangle and hourglass shapes. Collars and turtlenecks with exaggerated forms create idyllic and interesting necklines for fall. You’ll find attractive pleating and exposed zippers that create fascinating, unique and modern styles this fall as well.
