La Perla debuts a new made-to-measure bridal collection designed by creative director

First revealed in Milan during Milan Fashion Week, the collection now travels to North America as a decadent extension of the brand’s lingerie and nightwear offering. Founded in 1954 by the legendary corsetry maker Ada Masotti, La Perla is renowned for creating expertly crafted lingerie and nightwear for the most memorable moments in a women’s life.

This season La Perla is proud to introduce a collection of bridal gowns that complement the brand’s longstanding bridal lingerie and nightwear collections. La Perla’s foray into the world of bridal is a natural evolution for the brand and a chance to showcase how an intimate understanding of the female form can transform the way a woman experiences her wedding day.  This new collection combines the atelier’s enviable lingerie expertise with its penchant for sartorial fantasy, consisting of eighteen one-of-a-kind pieces expertly rendered in La Perla’s signature fabrics such as tulle, lace and silks. In each garment, you will find the highest expression of luxury craftsmanship and tailoring.

Each design is an individual interpretation of the modern bride. From gowns demonstrating dazzling cage corsetry to silk georgette embroidered with graduated sequin embellishment, each piece has a story to impart on femininity and sensuality. The bridal collection is presented in a remarkable handmade book highlighting the craftsmanship and intricate detailing of each gown.
