Travelle at The Langham presents two calligraphy workshops taught by local instructor Ricki DiCola of r + ink. Participants learn the art of modern handwriting while enjoying a lovely brunch at Travelle.
These calligraphy workshops give guests the opportunity to learn a new skill in a friendly and inviting setting, while creating a piece to take home for future inspiration. During the workshop, Ricki teaches participants proper brush technique – including pressure, sizing, and spacing – with assorted brush pens and on various types of paper.
The seminar includes all required tools to master the art of modern handwriting, and after students learn the techniques, they enjoy brunch from Chef Jeff and Pastry Chef Danielle Marelli.
