Chi-Town Rising is the largest New Year's Eve party in the Midwest! Featuring live entertainment, the biggest NYE icon in the world, and a dazzling fireworks display, along the beautiful Chicago River.
Chi-Town Rising will take place along the Chicago Riverfront between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive. As the countdown to 2017 begins, the star will ascend 36 stories up Hyatt Regency Chicago’s West Tower, culminating in iconic imagery and an unprecedented fireworks show for the city.
Chi-Town Rising will once again be offering a free Family Countdown Celebration on the Chicago Cultural Mile, and will be adding two free public viewing areas on the north and south sides of the Chicago River for those seeking an outdoor celebration experience. Attendees will need to undergo security screening, and capacity is limited for the public areas, so guests should arrive early to ensure access.
