Globally-celebrated artist Nick Cave and award-winning international architect Jeanne Gang join forces for "Here Hear Chicago", a new site-specific project incorporating art, design and performance at Navy Pier.
Navy Pier, Chicago’s mission-driven cultural district, has commissioned world-renowned contemporary artist Nick Cave and international architect and MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang for Here Hear Chicago, a new site-specific project that incorporates art, design and performance. The collaboration will be featured at Navy Pier this fall as part of the free public programming for the Chicago Architecture Biennial and EXPO CHICAGO, the International Exposition of Modern & Contemporary Art. The collaborative work is an extension of Navy Pier’s ongoing commitment to offer guests free, one-of-a-kind arts and cultural programming, designed to inspire, educate and connect communities across the city and globe.
