Join Hub 51 as they welcome Solemn Oath Brewery to tap a firkin of the brewery’s Snaggletooth Bandana (IPA) as well as their Lu (Kolsch-Style Ale).
Hub 51 will also be serving a Glazed Pork Belly to pair with a pint! Enjoy a pint (or several) and chat with the team. This Firkin Friday starts at 6:00 PM in the main bar. Reservations are available but not required. Event is free and open to the public – just pay for what you consume!
And what exactly is a firkin? A firkin is a keg – smaller than a traditional barrel – with a unique tapping process. Using only gravity to pour and no CO2 to push out the beer, this yields a small batch of naturally-fermented and carbonated beer that tastes much fresher than its full-size keg counterpart.
