The new Hunt Club Dining Series at Beacon Tavern will include an all-you-can-eat-and-drink multi-course menu of game dishes including walleye, duck and venison, along with bottomless wine, cocktails, and beer.
There’s no need for a membership to enjoy a hearty Hunt Club meal. After a summer spent cracking crabs at its popular Blue Crab Boil, Beacon Tavern (405 N. Wabash Ave.) is introducing a new monthly all-you-can-eat-and-drink dining series, Hunt Club, that pays homage to the tradition of convivial Hunt Club dinners where groups of hunters and their friends gather together to share the bounty of the hunt.
Jim Lester of Wyncroft-Marland winery, who will be supplying the wine for the dinner, will make a special appearance.
The multi-course menu will be served family-style and feature a rotating menu of game, fowl, and fish, ranging from whole duck to roasted walleye and venison saddle.
