Matilda McQuaid, deputy curatorial director and head of the Textiles Department at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, discusses contemporary fiber art.

From 2:00-3:00 p.m. join Matilda McQuaid as explores how textiles have become increasingly integrated into our environment, using both traditional techniques and new technologies, forever changing our understanding of what a textile is and can be.

Textile Society members are invited to attend a tea reception following the lecture in Terzo Piano.
