Live at Aloft Hotels Homecoming Tour Featuring NJOMZA

Join the journey home as eight hometown headliners return back to where it all began for an exclusive one-night performance on the Live at Aloft Hotels Homecoming Tour, kicking off with NJOMZA hosted at Aloft Chicago Mag Mile!

On Friday, August 23rd, Aloft will host the Albania-born, Chicago-bred NJOMZA, who fronted her first band at the age of 14. By the end of high school, NJOMZA attracted a following through uploading acoustic covers of Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, and more to social media. Mac Miller caught one of those covers and signed her to his Remember Music label. She cameoed on “Planet God Damn” from Miller’s acclaimed 2016 offering, The Divine Feminine. 2017 saw NJOMZA unveil her acclaimed debut EP, Sad For You, which Noisey described as “sweeping and accessible pop tunes that channel the atmosphere of 90s R&B with modern compositions.” In between collaborations with everyone from Skrillex to FKi 1st, she headlined various shows and made festival stops at Bonnaroo and beyond.

“Chicago will always hold a special place in my heart. This is my hometown - where I grew up. The sound I developed, my style, my hair. It all started here,” said NJOMZA.
