SHORELINE SIGHTSEEING FIRST "ILLINOIS MADE" CRUISE SET FOR FRIDAY, JUNE 23
New Cruise in Partnership with Illinois Office of Tourism will feature Food and Beverages from Illinois artisans.
Shoreline Sightseeing will host the first Illinois Made Cruise featuring food and beverages from "Illinois Made" artisans on Friday, June 23. Launched in July 2016, Illinois Made is an ongoing program that recognizes the artisans, products and experiences that are unique to the state. Shoreline is partnering with the Illinois Office of Tourism for two Illinois Made Cruises this summer.
Illinois Made artisan Blaum Bros. Distilling Co. of Galena, IL will be featured on the June cruise along with additional food and beverage providers from around the state. Chicago musician Morgan Foster will entertain during the 90-minute Chicago River cruise. Updated listings of Illinois Made Cruise participants can be found on Shoreline's Facebook page and social media outlets.
The Illinois Made cruise will depart from Shoreline's dock at Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier at 8:00 p.m., returning at 9:30 p.m. Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to departure. A cash bar will be available.
