Shoreline Sightseeing presents a new cruise in partnership with Illinois Office of Tourism, featuring Food and Beverages from Illinois artisans.
Shoreline Sightseeing will host the the final Illinois Made Cruise of the season featuring food and beverages from "Illinois Made" artisans on August 4. Launched in July 2016, Illinois Made is an ongoing program that recognizes the artisans, products and experiences that are unique to the state. Shoreline is partnering with the Illinois Office of Tourism on the Illinois Made Cruises..
Illinois Made artisan Whiskey Acres Distilling Co. of DeKalb, IL will be featured along with various other food and beverage providers from around the state. Chicago musician Owen Stevenson will entertain during the 90-minute Chicago River cruise. Updated listings of Illinois Made Cruise participants can be found on Shoreline's Facebook page and social media outlets.
The Illinois Made cruise will depart from Shoreline's dock at Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier at 8:00 p.m., returning at 9:30 p.m. Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to departure. A cash bar will be available.
