Join us at 6:30 pm on March 31st as the AWM teams up with The Nerdologues and International Tom Hanks Day for a live taping of a Cast Away-themed Your Stories podcast. Enjoy food and drink, and listen to members of the community share their stories.

For seven years, The Nerdologues Presents: Your Stories has combined comedy, rock and roll, and disastrous earnestness into a weekly podcast where cool cats like you share their tales in front of a live audience and we find out a little something about why we're all nerds. Guest performers include some of the funniest, sharpest, and warmest voices in Chicago.

Join The Nerdologues and International Tom Hanks Day at the American Writers Museum on March 31st at 6:30 pm for a Cast Away themed podcast. Come listen to music, storytelling, and write your best Cast Away-like story on a typewriter signed by Tom Hanks himself.

Tickets are $10 for AWM member, $15 for non-members. Food and drink are included with the ticket price. For every ticket sold, Tom Hanks Day will donate $5 to Lifeline Energy, a mission-driven non-profit social enterprise, that designs, manufactures and distributes solar-powered and wind-up media players and radios for classroom and community listening.
