In partnership with GlobalShop and The Magnificent Mile, Windows of The Magnificent Mile is a collection of inspired window displays, inviting thousands of GlobalShop’s retail design professionals and consumers to the district to highlight our unique retail experience!
We are very excited for GlobalShop: Windows of The Magnificent Mile in March 2018. This is the first time since 2008 that GlobalShop will run the Windows program in Chicago. The collection of inspired window displays throughout The Magnificent Mile district created in partnership with suppliers exhibiting at GlobalShop, drawing thousands of GlobalShop attendees, as well as other consumers and passersby. The unique marketing campaign surrounding this major retail industry trade show and conference will challenge the current news cycle media about brick-and-mortar retail in a uniquely positive way!
The campaign will occur from March 27 – April 27, 2018 (up to a 30-day run). GlobalShop will take place at McCormick Place March, 27 to 29, 2018. Participating businesses will reveal their window display(s) beginning the week of GlobalShop. The display(s) will be branded with a custom Windows of The Magnificent Mile cling that features the name/logo and booth # of the supplier partner.
The current list of participating retailers includes: Bulgari, Bloomingdale’s Medinah Home Store, Charming Charlie, Chicago Contemporary Museum of Art Store, Fannie May Chocolates, Hanig’s Footwear, I Love Chicago, Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio, Overland Sheepskin, The Goldsmith Ltd and Saks Fifth Avenue. Supplier partners and additional retailers to be confirmed by end of December.
