Semicolon Bookstore Makes History on The Magnificent Mile!
The Magnificent Mile® Association welcomes the groundbreaking bookstore as a new tenant of the iconic Wrigley Building as part of the Storefront Activation Grant from the City of Chicago's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection. The Magnificent Mile Association celebrated the event with a grand opening on July 16, which included a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson joined Association leadership and Semicolon's owner, Danni Moore, in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with Deputy Mayor Kenya Merrit, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Planning and Development Ciere Boatright, Congressman Danny Davis, and several others.

The Magnificent Mile® Association Unveils Signature Tulip, Celebrating Chicago’s Famed Gardens Along Michigan Avenue
The Magnificent Mile® Association unveiled a vibrant symbol of Chicago on April 17 – The Magnificent Mile™ Tulip! This captivating flower showcases a stunning blend of rich yellow petals with a tangerine blush, elegantly outlined in a soft red. The colors deepen as the bloom matures, creating a dynamic display that will grace Michigan Avenue through late April. The Magnificent Mile Tulip can exclusively be seen at 625 North Michigan Avenue, where 4,000 inaugural bulbs were planted last fall, and now grace the gardens with their vibrant color.

"Flight of Butterflies" Takes Flight on The Magnificent Mile®, Bringing Art, Nature, and Technology Together
The Magnificent Mile Association®, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and Special Service Area 76 are proud to announce the arrival of "Flight of Butterflies" to The Magnificent Mile. “Flight of Butterflies” is a captivating citywide exhibit that brings art, nature, and technology together. This unique initiative features 29 stunning butterfly sculptures scattered throughout Chicago, with 10 gracing the iconic Magnificent Mile. Visitors to The Mag Mile can not only admire these beautiful sculptures but also engage with an innovative augmented reality experience.
