From the Suburbs

Metra
Traveling to and from the suburbs is straightforward with Metra trains. For schedules, maps, and station locations, visit MetraRail.com. Once you arrive, you can easily reach The Magnificent Mile via the following options:

• From Union Station: Take the 151 (northbound) or 157 (eastbound) bus at Adams and Canal to North Michigan Avenue. Exit anywhere between Wacker Drive and Oak Street.
• From Ogilvie Transportation Center: Take the 157 (eastbound) bus at Adams and Canal to North Michigan Avenue. Exit anywhere between Wacker Drive and Oak Street.
• From Metra Millennium Station: Walk north four blocks or take the 3, 26, 143, 147, 151, or 157 bus on Michigan at Randolph north to The Magnificent Mile. Exit anywhere between Wacker Drive and Oak Street.

Water Taxi

From the Airport

CTA (Public Transportation)

• From Midway: Take the Orange Line to Roosevelt, then transfer to the Red Line north (Howard). Travel to the Grand or Chicago stop. Exit and walk east approximately two blocks to Michigan Avenue.
• From O’Hare: Take the Blue Line to Lake, then transfer to the Red Line north (Howard). Travel to the Grand or Chicago stop. Exit and walk east approximately two blocks to Michigan Avenue.

Airport Shuttle Bus
GO Airport Express offers shuttle services between Chicago area locations and O’Hare and Midway Airports. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from O’Hare and Midway Airports to downtown Chicago and various suburban locations.

Cab
Cabs are readily available at both O’Hare and Midway Airports, easily accessible outside baggage claim areas.

Driving

From the North: Drive south on Lake Shore Drive and exit at Michigan Avenue.
From the Northwest: Take I-90/94 to Ohio Street, then east on Ohio Street to Michigan Avenue.
From the South: Drive north on Lake Shore Drive and exit at Illinois Street/Grand Avenue, then follow signs to Michigan Avenue.
From the Southwest: Take I-55 to Lake Shore Drive north, then exit on Illinois Street/Grand Avenue and follow signs to Michigan Avenue.
